Pedersen (communication, marketing, and media; Robert Gordon U., Scotland) conducted three quantitative and qualitative research projects into why people create and maintain weblogs, or blogs: a survey of bloggers, an analysis of blog content, and comments and insights people made to her blog. Her focus is on personal rather than corporate blogs, and on the British blogosphere, but neither of these boundaries is airtight.
